DESCRIPTION:The aims of the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes 
 (EFSD) are to encourage and support research in the field of diabetes\, to
  rapidly diffuse acquired knowledge and to facilitate its application.\n 
 \nEFSD/JDRF/LILLY EUROPEAN PROGRAMME IN TYPE 1 DIABETES RESEARCH\nDeadline
 : 1 July (every year) 18:00 CET\n\n	Funding:\n	\n		up to EUR 100’000 OR\
 n		up to EUR 400’000 for clinical research.\n	\n	\n	For what: research p
 rojects in the following research areas. Research with a biological counte
 rpart or in vivo validation is preferred.\n	Duration: min. 1 year\n	Who ca
 n apply: PI and Co-PIs must be employed full-time at a non-profit institut
 ion in Europe and associated countries and the study must be performed at
