DESCRIPTION:Juliane Sauer\, OxygeneEUm\, consultant for Marie Sklodowska-C
urie Actions (Horizon2020 EU Framework Programme)\, Career Development and
the Gender Dimension in Research.\nMost research funding bodies (the SNSF
\, the European Commission\, etc.) now demand information about the gender

mes be a challenge to define this correctly – and yet\, you will need to
address it properly to obtain funding. This workshop aims to enable parti
cipants to define the gender dimension of their research projects\, and th
us make their research proposals more competitive.\n\nThe goal of this int
eractive workshop is to become familiar with the appropriate tools to addr
ess the gender dimension in research.\nWorkshop outline:\n\n	Introduction\
n	Short theoretical summary\n	Interactive exercises to define the gender d
imension of each research project\n	Overview of further support documents
and tools\n\nWe would kindly ask each participant to send a one-page draft
of a research proposal s/he is developing to egalite.chance@unine.ch befo
re May 4th\, to help the workshop run smoothly.\n\n\n	Maximum of 25 partic
