 use the theory of weights on étale cohomology to study formality with tor
 sion coefficients of objects arising from algebraic geometry. As an applic
 ation\, I will discuss formality with torsion coefficients of the dg-algeb
 ra of singular cochains of configuration spaces of points in the complex s
 pace. This is joint work in progress with Geoffroy Horel.
