DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Peer Reviewed M
 edical Research Program (PRMRP) for 2018. The vision of the FY18 PRMRP is 
 to improve the health and well-being of all military Service members\, Vet
 erans\, and beneficiaries. The intent of the PRMRP Focused Program Award i
 s intended to optimize research and accelerate the solution for a critical
  question related to at least one of the Congressionally directed FY18 PRM
 RP Topic Areas through a synergistic\, multidisciplinary research program.
  The Topic Areas are listed at the end of this announcement.\n \nApplicat
 ions shall include multiple\, distinct research projects led by individual
  project leaders that address complementary aspects of the overarching cha
 llenge. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a minimum of four res
 earch projects\; additional studies are allowed. While individual projects
  must be capable of standing on their own high scientific merits\, they mu
 st also be interrelated and synergistic with the other proposed projects a
 nd advance a solution beyond what would be possible through individual eff
 orts.\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 10’000’000\n \nEligibility: Applica
 nts from international organizations or institutions are eligible to apply
 \, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at the level o
 f Full Professor or above are eligible to submit applications.\n \nHow to
