DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Peer Reviewed C
 ancer Research Program (PRCRP) for 2018. The Impact Award supports hypothe
 sis-driven\, high-impact research. Research proposed should aim to acceler
 ate promising findings toward clinical applicability and leverage research
  results to maximize impact. Important factors under consideration will be
  continuity of research\, clinical applicability\, and leveraging of clini
 cal samples and trials.\n \nTo be considered for funding\, applications f
 or the FY18 PRCRP Career Development Award must address at least one of th
 e FY18 PRCRP Topic Areas as directed by Congress. In addition\, applicatio
 ns must also address at least one of the FY18 PRCRP Military Relevance Foc
 us Areas. These lists are given at the end of this announcement.\n \nFund
 ing: Maximum USD $ 1’000’000\n \nDuration: 3 years\n \nEligibility: 
 Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eligible t
 o apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at or a
 bove the level of Assistant Professor are eligible to submit applications.

 orm. They should contain contact information\, a list of collaborators and
  key personnel\, a proposal narrative\, and supporting documents as sugges
