DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Peer Reviewed C
 ancer Research Program (PRCRP) for 2018. The Translational Team Science Aw
 ard supports hypothesis-driven translational studies. These studies should
  be associated with a clinical trial and/or existing annotated bioreposito
 ries. The proposed project should focus on research for the next-phase cli
 nical trial or future clinical application.\n \nThe FY18 PRCRP TTSA stron
 gly encourages studies investigating:\n\n	Patient-reported outcomes\, surv
 ivorship\, and/or quality of life\n	The relationship between prevention an
 d longitudinal cancer risk outcomes\n	Risk stratification for primary and 
 metastatic diseases\n\n \nTo be considered for funding\, applications for
  the FY18 PRCRP Career Development Award must address at least one of the 
 FY18 PRCRP Topic Areas as directed by Congress. In addition\, applications
  must also address at least one of the FY18 PRCRP Military Relevance Focus
  Areas. These lists are given at the end of this announcement.\n \nFundin

 plicants from international organizations or institutions are eligible to 
 apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at or abo
 ve the level of Assistant Professor are eligible to submit applications.\n
