DESCRIPTION:The Julius Baer Foundation is interested in supporting the dev
 elopment of projects and programmes that present an innovative approach to
  recycling materials that makes good business sense. The Foundation sees i
 ts role not only as a donor but also as a partner that can offer the knowl
 edge and experience of its employees\, both at the Foundation and at the J
 ulius Baer Bank.\n \nSpecificities: the PI can be based in Switzerland an
 d be affiliated to a Swiss university or research institute\, but the proj
 ect must be implemented abroad (i.e. any country except for Switzerland\, 
 Austria and Germany).\n \nWhat: The Foundation is particularly looking fo
 r projects that link waste management with the production and consumption 
 phase:\n\n	Applicants must demonstrate entrepreneurial flair and innovativ
 e methods in how they take materials that have been collected and either r
 epurpose them or reuse them in an environmentally friendly way. \n	The Fo
 undation is also interested in initiatives that use environmentally friend
 ly materials or recyclable packaging right at production level. \n	Waste 
 management projects are not eligible.\n\n \nDuration: 3 years\n \nFundin
 g: between CHF 50\,000 and CHF 100\,000 p.a. and per project. \n\n\n	The 
 grant can cover up to 50% of the total project costs.\n	75-80% of the gran
 t should be used outside of Switzerland.\n	Eligible costs: all project-rel
 ated costs and overheads (incl. salaries\, office rent maintenance\, commu
 nication\, materials and fundraising costs). \n\n \nDeadline: All year r
 ound\n \nApplication: \n\n\n	Please fill out the Grant Application Form (

  least 7 working days prior to submission.\n	The call foresees the submiss
 ion of a full proposal.\n	The Board meets 4 times a year to review grant a
