DESCRIPTION:The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) supports laboratory and cli
 nical research projects with the potential to delay\, slow\, stop\, revers
 e or prevent the progression of Parkinson’s disease. \n\nCPT only accep
 ts research applications that meet the following criteria:\n\n	Disease mod
 ifying (slow\, stop\, reverse)\n	Translate into clinic (Phase 2b trial) wi
 thin 5 years\n\n\nCPT does NOT accept symptomatic research or solely mecha
 nistic or biomarker research.\n\nFunding & Duration: £50\,000 to £250\,0
 00 for 1-3 years. Eligible costs include materials and personnel. Overhead
 s are NOT eligible.\n\nWho can apply: scientists or clinicians based at a 
 university or hospital worldwide\, or commercial organisations. \n\nDeadl
 ines: 10 May\, 16 August and 25 October (every year)\n\nApplication:\n\n\
 n	Contact research@epfl.ch at least 7 working days prior to the deadline t
 o obtain a Letter of Institutional Support (COMPULSORY).\n	Submit your ful
 l proposal\, including budget\, using this form\, to Leah Mursaleen (leah@
 cureparkinsons.org.uk). If the project features a drug\, complete also the
  Drug CV Form. Please note that ethical compliance is reviewed at the pro
 posal stage.\n\nEvaluation criteria: appropriateness with CPT criteria\, p
 roximity to cure\, originality\, potential clinical impact and achievabili
