 s passionate cyclonaut and writer\, back on campus on June 5th. \n\nAs par
 t of Bike to work\, the passionate cyclonaut and Swiss writer Claude Marth
 aler honours us with his presence on Tuesday June 5th at 6pm in CM1106 to 
 talk to us about cycling\, his travels and show Bike for bread\, a documen
 tary about Cairo's bread delivery people\, which he co-directed with Rapha
 ël Jochaud (trailer here).  An aperitif will follow the conference.\n\nS
 ince 1978\, he has visited nearly a hundred countries during his several b
 ike trips. And when he is not around the world\, he gives lectures and wri
 tes articles for the newspaper La Liberté\, the weekly Écho Magazine\, C
 ycle!magazine and PRO VELO info. He is the author of 9 books\, two digital
  slide shows and co-director of the documentary Bike for bread (2003\, 26'
 ). Two television documentaries were devoted to him: "La fin du voyage" (5
 2'\, 2003) and Claude Marthaler\, embrasser la terre (70'\, 2015). His pas
 sion as a child\, which has also become his livelihood\, merges today\, li
 ke the two wheels on his bicycle. Also he will sign all of his books durin
 g this evening not to be missed!\n\nLast year\, Claude Marthaler came to t
 alk to us\, among other things\, about his 7-year world tour. In addition\
 , his photo exhibition "Zen or the art of pedaling" was exhibited under th
 e BM's arcades.
