  postdoctoral stint in Dresden at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Ce
 ll Biology and Genetics and the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Co
 mplex Systems. Her research drew on her graduate work in frustrated magnet
 ic materials\, and involved collaborations across the spectrum of soft-mat
 ter and biological physics\, which she now handles for the journal.\n \n
