DESCRIPTION:The Elrha’s Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises Progr
 amme (R2HC) supports research projects that improve public health in human
 itarian crises by strengthening the evidence base through data and evidenc
 e gathering. Proposals must aim at influencing the humanitarian policy and
  practice using the research findings. Secondary data collection projects 
 will be considered. Clinical trials and the development of diagnostics are
  NOT funded. Proposals evaluating health system interventions in fragile s
 tates and protracted crises are encouraged.\n \nWho can apply: applicants
  from all over the world\, but at least 1 researcher from a research insti
 tution + 1 operational humanitarian organisation. For-profit companies or 
 individuals can join the research team.\n \nFunding: not specified\, it c
 an vary from £430’000 to £3.5 M.\n \nDuration: 24 months for research
  + 12 months for uptake and dissemination.\n \nEligible costs:\n\n	For ye
 ars 1-2: personnel\, travel\, data collection and analysis\, equipment and
  other research costs. 10% overheads are eligible only if alternative fund
 ing is not available.\n	For year 3 (at least 10% of the overall budget): d
 issemination events\, data visualisation\, policy briefs\, publication\, s
