DESCRIPTION:The Waltham Foundation 2018 Collaborative WALTHAM Human-Animal
  interaction Research Programme supports high quality\, innovative researc
 h collaborations in human-animal interaction between researchers worldwide
  and a WALTHAM™ HAI Research Manager.\n \nEligible topic areas: \n\n	Th
 e impact of pets on human physical and socio-emotional health (includes th
 e concepts of physical activity\, wellness\, engagement\, social support\,
  usefulness\, purpose and connectedness).\n	Maintenance of healthy body we
 ight in people and pets (includes how the behaviours of both species impac
 t the other).\n	Restriction: projects involving invasive surgical techniqu
 es or procedures\, euthanasia or other harmful or aversive techniques perf
 ormed on animal or human participants are NOT eligible.\n\n \nWho can app
 ly: PI must hold a PhD\, Ed.D. or equivalent and be employed by a universi
 ty or academic institution worldwide.\n \nFunding: max. £240’000 (incl
