 g processes.\nEducation\nB. S. (1983)\, M. S. (1985)\, and Ph. D (1991). i
 n Optics\, University of Rochester\, Rochester\, New York\nSelected Awards
and Honors\nFellow of the American Physical Society\nFellow of the Optica
 l Society of America\nCollege of Engineering Teaching Award\, 1997\, 2000\
 , 2003\, and 2007\nArmy Research Office Young Investigator Award\, 1995\nO
ffice of Naval Research Young Investigator Award\, 1993\nThe generation of
optical frequency combs in microresonators has attracted intense interest
over the past decade.  This can be attributed to their potential for an
ultralow power\, chip-based implementation and the beautiful\, complex phy
sics underlying their operation.  I will describe our recent work explori
ng the dynamical behavior of microresonator combs\, their application to s
pectroscopy\, and development of a fully integrated device.
