DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Peer Reviewed A
 lzheimer’s Research Program (PRARP) for 2018. The intent of the PRARP Co
 nvergence Science Research Award is to support efforts to generate researc
 h resources\, tools\, or novel research efforts for researchers and/or pra
 ctitioners in health sciences related to the PRARP’s mission. The resear
 ch impact for the FY18 PRARP RPA is expected to benefit the military\, Vet
 eran\, and civilian communities.\n \nApplications must address one or mor
 e of the FY18 PRARP CSRA Overarching Challenges. In addition\, application
 s should address at least one of the following FY18 PRARPCSRA Focus Areas.
  These Challenges and Focus Areas are listed at the end of this announceme
 nt.\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 500’000\n \nDuration: 3 years\n \nElig
 ibility: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are e
 ligible to apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigator
 s at the level of Assistant Professor or higher are eligible to submit app
 lications.  \n \nHow to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through th
 e eBRAP platform. They should contain contact information\, a list of coll
 aborators and key personnel\, a letter of intent\, and supporting document
 s as suggested on the platform. Full applications (by invitation) will be
