DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Kidney Cancer R
 esearch Program (KCRP) for 2018. The KCRP Idea Development Award is intend
 ed to support innovative ideas and high-impact approaches based on scienti
 fically sound evidence to move toward the KCRP vision of eliminating kidne
 y cancer. The proposed research must be relevant to active duty Service me
 mbers\, Veterans\, military beneficiaries\, and/or the American public.\n
  \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 400’000\n \nDuration: 2 years\n \nEligibili
 ty: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eligib
 le to apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at 
 the level of Assistant professor and less than 10 years from their termina
 l degree may apply as Early-Career Investigators. Independent investigator
 s at the level of Assistant professor or higher and more than 10 years fro
 m their terminal degree may apply as Established Investigators.  Personne
 l on the proposed team should have a strong background in kidney cancer re
 search.\n \nHow to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRA
