DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Lupus Research 
 Program (LRP) for 2018. The LRP Impact Award encourages applications that 
 support the full spectrum of research projects or ideas that specifically 
 focus on scientific and clinical lupus issues\, which\, if successfully ad
 dressed\, have the potential to make a major impact in lupus research. Inc
 lusion of preliminary data is encouraged.\n \nThe proposed research must 
 address at least one of the FY18 LRP Focus Areas. The Focus Areas are list
 ed at the end of this announcement.\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 525’000\
 n \nDuration: 3 years\n \nEligibility: Applicants from international org
 anizations or institutions are eligible to apply\, and there are no citize
 nship restrictions. Investigators at the level Assistant Professor or high
 er are eligible to submit applications.  \n \nHow to Apply: Pre-applicat
 ions are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They should contain contact
  information\, a list of collaborators and key personnel\, a letter of int
 ent\, and supporting documents as suggested on the platform. Full applicat
 ions (by invitation) will be made via a Grants.gov workspace. Full applica
