DESCRIPTION:The Foundation Promobilia supports:\n\n	research and developme
 nt of technical aids so that disabled persons could benefit of a more acti
 ve life. The foundation’s support aims also at ensuring that these produ
 cts get into production and reach those in need.\n	research about the comp
 rehension of reading and writing difficulties.\n	research around diseases 
 that could lead to severe motion problems.\n\nResults should be useful to 
 a larger group and be disseminated through any form of open publication.\n
  \nWho can apply: \n\n\n	Applicants at a recognized university or equival
 ent institution\, in Sweden or abroad.\n	Private persons and industrial pr
 ojects are not eligible.\n\n \nFunding & Duration: \n\n\n	SEK 100\,000 
 – 500\,000 (in USD about 10\,000 – 100\,000) for max. 2 years.\n	Ma
 tching funds are encouraged.\n	Eligible costs: salaries\, equipment\, mate
 rial\, other project-related costs\, including subcontracting.\n	Please co
 nsider 20% overheads.\n\n \nDeadline: 11 October 2018\n\n\n	Submit your a
 pplication at least 7 working days prior to the deadline to research@epfl.
 ch to request the institutional signature of the application form (p.7).\n
 	applications must be submitted by regular mail.\n	2 deadlines per year in
  March and October.\n\n \nApplication:\n\n\n	For non-independent PIs: the
  application form must be signed (p.7) also by the head of the unit.\n	Eth
