 ract: We study models and coordination policies for intermodal Autonomous
  Mobility-on-Demand (AMoD)\, wherein a fleet of self-driving vehicles prov
 ides on-demand mobility jointly with public transit.\nSpecifically\, we fi
 rst present a network flow model for intermodal AMoD\, where we capture th
 e coupling between AMoD and public transit and the goal is to maximize soc
 ial welfare. Second\, leveraging such a model\, we design a pricing and to
 lling scheme that allows to achieve the social optimum under the assumptio
 n of a perfect market with selfish agents. Finally\, we present a real-wor
 ld case study for New York City. Our results show that the coordination be
 tween AMoD fleets and public transit can yield significant benefits compar
 ed to an AMoD system operating in isolation.\n\nBio: Mauro Salazar was bor
 n in Zürich\, Switzerland. He received the B.Sc. degree in mechanical en
 gineering from ETH Zürich in 2013\, and the M.Sc. degree in mechanical e
 ngineering in 2015. He did his master thesis at EPFL with Prof. Colin Jone
 s on the topic Low Energy Control. He is pursuing a Ph.D. degree with the 
 Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control\, ETH Zürich\, under the super
 vision of Prof. Chris Onder. From January to July 2018\, he was a visiting
  research scholar at the Autonomous Systems Lab\, Stanford University\, un
 der the supervision of Prof. Marco Pavone.\nHis current research interests
  include optimal control theory\, hybrid electric vehicles\, autonomous mo
 bility-on-demand and model predictive control.\nHe received the Outstandin
 g Bachelor Award and the Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Award from
  ETH Zürich. His master thesis was awarded the ETH Medal.
