DESCRIPTION:Aim: Since 1985\, the Alzheimer's Disease Research (ADR) pro
 gram has awarded nearly $120 million to support promising research in fiel
 ds ranging from molecular biology to genetics to epidemiology. The standar
 d award provides significant funding for researchers who have already gene
 rated some amount of preliminary data\, but are often required to demonstr
 ate additional\, significant progress before they can apply to governmenta
 l or industrial funding agencies.\n \nDuration: 3 years\n \nFunding: USD
  $300’000\n \nEligibility: The Principal Investigator (PI) position on 
 BrightFocus Standard Awards are open to tenure- and non-tenure track inves
 tigators of any career stage who are appropriately trained to lead an inde
 pendent research study\, and are permitted by their organizations to manag
