DESCRIPTION:The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) awards Ambizione 
 grants to young outstanding postdoctoral researchers in all disciplines wh
 o intend to pursue an academic career at a Swiss research institution. The
  purpose of the Ambizione grant is to enhance researchers' scientific prof
 ile and to help them to become scientifically independent at an early stag
 e in their career by conducting\, managing and leading their own research 
 project.\nAn Ambizione grant with salary covers the grantee's salary and t
 he funds needed to carry out the project. An Ambizione project grant\, how
 ever\, comprises only project funds.\n \nFunding and duration\n\n	Funding
  amount: max. 400’000 CHF for 4 years (project funds) + PI’s salary\n	
 Duration: 24 to 48 months (earliest start September 2019)\n\n \nDeadlines
 \n\n\n	EPFL internal deadline: October 15th 2018 (see complete procedure i
 n the EPFL Application Package)\n	SNSF submission deadline: November 1st 2
 018 (Application must be submitted on the mySNF.ch platform)\n\n\nFor more
