DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) seeks to support res
 earch that will develop biomarker tools and clinical outcome measures to a
 ssist in diagnosis and therapeutic development and ultimately inform clini
 cal trial design\, execution and interpretation of results. Part of our Ed
 mond J. Safra Core Programs for PD Research\, the Improved Biomarker and C
 linical Outcome Measure program funds research to develop or optimize imag
 ing\, clinical\, non-invasive or biochemical biomarkers.  \n \nFunding 
 will be directed to projects that will improve the precision of measuring 
 Parkinson's disease in humans. This could include enriching subject popula
 tions in clinical trials\, developing markers of target engagement\, or di
 scovery or validation of objective outcomes that track disease progression
 .\n \nFunding:       Maximum USD $750’000\n           
             \nDuration:      1-3 years\n         
               \nEligibility: Researchers at all academic lev
 els at or above Assistant Professor are eligible to apply. Post-doctoral f
 ellows are eligible to apply as co-investigators with the designation of a
 n administrative principal investigator who directs the laboratory in whic
 h the fellow will conduct research.\n \nHow to Apply: The pre-proposal is
  the first step in the application. Pre-proposals must be completed in the
  online application portal.  Successful applicants will be given further
