DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Traumatic Brain
  Injury Research Program (TBIRP) for 2018. The goal of the Long-Term Impac
 t of Military-Relevant Brain Injury Consortium (LIMBIC) Award is to improv
 e our understanding of the impact of mild TBI (mTBI)/concussion on Service
  members and Veterans. The FY18 PH/TBIRP LIMBIC Award will support a Conso
 rtium conducting a single large longitudinal study and associated sub-stud
 ies within the scope of the Program Announcement/Funding Opportunity. The 
 knowledge gained through the proposed studies will be used to inform TBI p
 athways of care and illuminate specific target areas to improve acute TBI 
 care and subsequent support systems for chronic care following mTBI.\n \n
 Funding: Maximum USD $ 25M\n \nDuration: 5 years\n \nEligibility: Applic
 ants from international organizations or institutions are eligible to appl
 y\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Independent investigators a
 t all academic levels are eligible to apply.\n \nHow to Apply: Pre-applic
 ations are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They should contain conta
 ct information\, a list of collaborators and key personnel\, a preproposal
  narrative\, and supporting documents as suggested on the platform. Full a
