DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Traumatic Brain
  Injury Research Program (TBIRP) for 2018. The Complex Traumatic Brain Inj
 ury Rehabilitation Research – Clinical Research Award is intended to sup
 port clinical research focused on understanding the clinical sequelae and 
 mechanisms of recovery associated with TBI and TBI rehabilitation interven
 tions. The FY18 PH/TBIRP CTRR-CRA mechanism supports applied and translati
 onal clinical research to advance the development of knowledge and materie
 l products for rehabilitation and restoration of function following TBI. A
 pplicants should explain how their work will inform the development\, refi
 nement\, and/or revision of existing standards of care\, clinical recommen
 dations\, or guidelines.\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 2M\n \nDuration: 3 y
 ears\n \nEligibility: Applicants from international organizations or inst
 itutions are eligible to apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions
 . Independent investigators at all academic levels are eligible to apply.\

 key personnel\, a preproposal narrative\, and supporting documents as sugg
