DESCRIPTION:Aim: The CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program support
 s qualified young scientists at leading universities and research centers 
 around the world. The Institute seeks hypothesis-driven\, mechanistic stud
 ies in both immunology and tumor immunology. The applicant and sponsor sho
 uld make every effort to demonstrate the potential of the proposed studie
 s to directly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in ca
 ncer.\n \nDuration: 1-3 years\n \nFunding:       Year 1 - $55\,000 
 stipend\n                      Year 2 - $57\,000 stip
 end\n                      Year 3 - $59\,000 stipend\
 n                      Each year - $1\,500 allowance 
 for research or travel\n \nEligibility: Applicant must hold a doctorate d
 egree by the date of award activation\, but have no more than 5 years post
 doctoral experience. Must be sponsored by a senior researcher with a forma
 l appointment at the host institution. The fellowship can be performed in 
 the United States or abroad\, but must take place at a non-profit institut
 ion. There are no citizenship restrictions.\n \nHow to Apply: Proposal ma
 terials\, including an application form\, background statement\, CV\, rese
 arch proposal\, and supporting letters\, must be uploaded via the online p
 ortal. Note that the proposal must be approved and signed by the host inst
