DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Cancer Research Institute Technology Impact Award aim
 s to address the gap between technology development and clinical applicati
 on of cancer immunotherapies. These grants aim to encourage collaboration 
 between technology developers and clinical cancer immunologists and to gen
 erate the proof-of-principle of a novel platform technology in bioinformat
 ics\, ex vivo or in silico modeling systems\, immunological or tumor profi
 ling instrumentation\, methods\, reagents and assays\, or other relevant t
 echnologies that can enable clinician scientists to generate deeper insigh
 ts into the mechanisms of action of effective or ineffective cancer immuno
 therapies.\n \nDuration:      24 months\n \nFunding:       USD 
 $200’000\n \nEligibility: Applicants must hold a faculty appointment as
  a tenure-track assistant professor (or higher rank) at the time of award 
 activation. CRI has no citizenship restrictions\, and research supported b
 y the award may be conducted at medical schools and research centers in th
 e United States or abroad. Joint submissions from collaborators will also 
 be considered. (The collaborators will share the award.) Each collaborator
  must meet the eligibility criteria.\n \nHow to Apply: The process for ap
 plying for a CLIP Grant consists of two parts: a Letter of Intent\, and\, 
 if invited\, a Full Application. Letters of intent and associated supporti
 ng documents must be submitted electronically through a special submission
