DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer is announcing funds 
 for approximately two Scientific Scholar awards to be allocated based on s
 cientific merit. Two-year grants at $120\,000 each\, Scientific Scholar Aw
 ards are intended to assist promising laboratory and clinical scientists i
 n pursuing a career as an independent investigator in ovarian cancer resea
 rch.\n \nDuration:      2 years\n \nFunding:       USD $120’0
 00\n \nEligibility: Potential candidates will have an MD\, PhD\, or equiv
 alent degree with career goals focused on ovarian cancer. Clinicians will 
 have completed their residency. Candidates should be at the post-doc/fello
 w\, instructor\, research assistant\, or assistant professor level with no
  more than 3-4 years in any of these positions. Established\, outstanding 
 scientists without prior focus in ovarian cancer but looking to focus in t
 his disease area are also encouraged to apply.\n \nBudget: Applicants mus
 t budget at least half of each year’s award for salary support\, includi
 ng social charges. Applicants may budget remaining funds for materials\, s
 upplies\, consumables\, travel costs for scientific meetings\, and other e
 xpenses as justified. Budget and budget justification must be included wit
 h the application.\n \nHow to Apply: Applicants should submit a proposal
