DESCRIPTION:Researchers intending to submit lead agency proposals to the A
 NR in spring 2019 must be aware that they are required to pre-register by 
 October 25\, 1 p.m.\n\nThe Lead Agency process is aimed at researchers in 
 Switzerland who wish to conduct a cross-border research project. The proce
 ss simplifies the submission and evaluation of transnational applications.
 \n\nThe SNSF and the Agence Nationale de Recherche (ANR) have agreed to ta
 ke turns as the Lead Agency on a yearly basis. In 2019\, Lead Agency appli
 cations with France may only be submitted to the ANR\, regardless of wheth
 er the larger portion of the project budget is requested in Switzerland or
  in France.\n\nFor the submission of a proposal in spring 2019 (03.04.2017
  - 17:00)\, a pre-registration at the ANR by the French partner is necessa
 ry. Deadline for the pre-registration: 25.10.2018 - 13:00. Any submission 
 that isn't pre-registered is automatically excluded. For the Swiss partner
