DESCRIPTION:The OPO Foundation supports basic and applied research project
 s within or linked to the disciplines of pharmacy and medicine. \n\nRestr
 ictions:\n\n	The Foundation supports concrete\, self-contained and broad-b
 ased projects that are not taken into account by the public sector.\n	Proj
 ects must be based in Switzerland. Smaller projects abroad with a connecti
 on to Switzerland may also be considered.\n	The Foundation does NOT suppor
 t projects with a commercial background.\n\n \nWho can apply: young and e
 stablished scientists.\n \nFunding:  usually ~CHF 50’000\, but max. CHF
  100’000\n \nDuration: varies depending on the project type.\n \nPreli
 minary examination (optional): submit an abstract (incl. the requested amo
 unt) to Mr. Martin Schmid (info@opo-stiftung.ch) at least 1 month before t
 he official deadline.\n \nDeadline: 31 March and 30 September (every year
 ). Submit your proposal by mail to OPO-Stiftung\, Kirchgasse 42\, 8001 Zü
 rich\n \nThe proposal must include\n\n\n	Accompanying letter with clearly
  summarized main points of the project.\n	Brief summary of the project des
 cription (executive summary)\n	Project description (including project titl
 e\, keywords\, timeplan\, expected starting date\, duration and where the 
 project will be carried out).\n	Project management team (institution\, pro
 ject leader and team members\, incl. CVs and publication lists).\n	Detaile
 d Budget (including financial plan\, as well as information on requested f
 unding and already awarded grants).\n\n\nFor more information and applicat
