DESCRIPTION:The Velux Stiftung supports basic and applied research in the 
 fields of daylight\, healthy ageing and ophthalmology which:\n\n	is releva
 nt beyond the borders of a single discipline\,\n	can accelerate research b
 y removing bottlenecks\,\n	enables implementation of research and\n	whose 
 results will be promoted and/or implemented inside and outside academia.\n
 \nThe foundation welcomes international and interdisciplinary collaboratio
 ns.\n \nWho can apply\n\n\n	Both individual researchers and research grou
 ps.\n	The main applicant (e.g. professor\, group leader) must be a permane
 nt employee of a university or other permanent research entity.\n	Non-perm
 anent employees are welcome to apply as co-applicants.\n\n \nDuration: 1-
 4 years\nFunding: approx. CHF 50-100’000 per year covering\n\n\n	Researc
 h staff costs (salaries\, doctoral students\, teaching replacement).\n	Ass
 ociated research costs (e.g. consumables\, conference\, travel\, publicati
 on).\n	Equipment costs may be included if duly justified.\n	Does NOT cover
  overheads nor social insurances.\n\nDeadline: 30 April 2019\nContact Rese
