DESCRIPTION:Gebert Rüf Stiftung was established by entrepreneur Heinrich 
 Gebert as a science and innovation foundation. Its objective is to promote
  «Switzerland as a top location for business and as a place to live». As
  a private funding agency guided by its mission statement «making science
  effective»\, it supports entrepreneurial projects which are committed to
  achieving an impact.\n \nThe programme Microbials supports interdiscipli
 nary\, cross-institutional\, impact-oriented\, innovative and applied proj
 ects\, dealing with the direct use of modified or domesticated microbial r
 esources in health and technology. Focus: applications in human and veteri
 nary medicine\, the environment\, energy production\, water treatment\, fo
 od science and other areas. GRS does NOT provide merely additional (residu
 al) financing of large initiatives.

 ersonnel employed at a Swiss university\, federal institute of technology\
 , research institutions affiliated with Swiss universities or at a univers

 unding & Duration: Max. CHF 300’000 for 24-36 months\n \nEligible costs
 : Salaries and Material costs linked to the project.\nDoes NOT cover: Infr

  2019).\n	Compile the Project Proposal Form (Max. 10 pages excluding atta
 chments) and the attachments in a single PDF file.\n	Among the attachments
 \, include the Letter of Endorsement (contact research@epfl.ch).\n	Upload 
 your Project Proposal on the “Microbials” webportal.\n\n \nFor furthe
