DESCRIPTION:Gebert Rüf Stiftung (GRS) was established in 1998 by entrepre
 neur Heinrich Gebert as a science and innovation foundation. Its objective
  is to promote «Switzerland as a top location for business and as a place
  to live». As a private funding agency guided by its mission statement «
 making science effective»\, it supports entrepreneurial projects\, which 
 are committed to achieving an impact.\n \nThe programme Scientainment is 
 for interdisciplinary teams working on projects that address the need for 
 a low-threshold way of communicating about education\, research and innova
 tion\, combining entertainment with the transfer of knowledge. It promotes
  the development of new forms of science dialogue in collaboration with re
 presentatives of non-scientific target groups in Switzerland. Marketing ca
 mpaigns\, institutional PR work and science communication are NOT supporte
 d.\n \nWho can apply: applicants employed within the science community an
 d other sectors (e.g. sport\, pop culture\, entertainment\, new media) in 
 Switzerland. Non independent researchers must join a Letter of Support fro
 m Head of their Unit.\n \nFunding: no upper or lower limit (the level of 
 funding and duration of approved projects can be found at this link)\n \n
 Eligible costs: Salaries and Material costs\nDoes NOT cover: Infrastructur
 e\, Equipment and Overheads.\n \nDeadline\n\n	Informal Access: submit a 1
 -2 page abstract to idee@grstiftung.ch well ahead of the deadline for prop
 osals\n	Proposal: 1 February\, 1 May\, 1 September and 1 December (every y
 ear) at 23:59 (Decision after 3 months)\n	Application: 1 March\, 15 May\,
