DESCRIPTION:The Wellcome Trust supports research projects to explore the l
 inks between health and climate change.\n \nFocus areas: \n\n	Developing 
 tools\, data sources and other resources to support research into health a
 nd climate change\n	Assessing the health co-benefits of actions to mitigat
 e or adapt to climate change \n\n \nPreference to research:\n\n\n	focusi
 ng on low and middle income countries\n	multidisciplinary\n	policy-relevan
 t\n\n \nWho can apply: individuals or teams of up to 10 members anywhere 
 in the world based at\n\n\n	an academic research organisation\n	a not-for-
 profit or government body\n	a private sector organisation.\n\n \nFunding 
 & Duration: Max. £500\,000 for up to 36 months\n \nFor what\n\n\n	Person
 nel (except for PI holding a tenured or permanent post)\n	Other: materials
  and consumables\, equipment (only essential smaller items + cost of one p
 ersonal computer or laptop per person)\, travel\, conference and subsisten
 ce\, fieldwork expenses\, publication\, VAT\, PhD student fees\, other.\n
