DESCRIPTION:The Germaine de Staël programme of the Swiss Academy of Engin
 eering Sciences (SATW) promotes collaborations between French and Swiss re
 searchers and research teams in any disciplines by reimbursing travel and 
 accommodation expenses incurred by Swiss team members as part of attending
  meetings or conferences in France. Projects including PhD students and yo
 ung researchers are especially encouraged.\n \nWho can apply: researchers
  based at any public or private Swiss research institute (EPF\, higher edu
 cation institutions\, universities\, research institutes\, HES/FHS and com
 panies).\n \nFunding & Duration: max. CHF 9’000 (4’500 p.a.) for up t
 o 24 months.\nEligible costs for reimbursement (only for Swiss participant
 s):\n\n	Shorts trips to France: max. 10 days per trip.\n	Accommodation cos
 ts: up to CHF 240 per night in Paris and up to CHF 150 per night elsewhere
  in France.\n	Daily allowance: CHF 95 in Paris and CHF 80 elsewhere in Fra
 nce for meals\, metro\, etc.\n	Does NOT cover: overheads and any costs not
  mentioned above.\n\n \nDeadline for institutional signature: 31 May 2019
 \nDeadline to submit the signed application: 7 June 2019\nDeadline for the
  two referees of choice to submit their reviews: 15 June 2019\nDecision: e
 nd of November 2019\nEarliest start: 1 January 2019\nThere is usually one
