DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) invi
 tes exceptional early career researchers from across the natural\, biomedi
 cal\, and social sciences and the humanities to join one of their interdis
 ciplinary research programs that address some of the most complex question
 s facing the world today. Scholars’ research interests must be aligned w
 ith the themes of an eligible CIFAR research program. In 2019\, the eligib
 le programs are:\n \n• Azrieli Program in Brain\, Mind & Consciousness\
 n• Bio-Inspired Solar Energy\n• Gravity & the Extreme Universe\n• Hu
 mans & the Microbiome\n• Molecular Architecture of Life\n \nFunding: CA
 D $100\,000\n \nDuration: 2 years\n \nEligibility: Applicants must hold 
 a PhD and be within the first five years of a full-time academic position 
 (i.e.\, an appointment beginning no earlier than 1 May 2014). Must be able
  to demonstrate an outstanding level of research achievement and promise o
