DESCRIPTION:The Alpro Foundation is calling for applications for innovativ
 e research projects related to plant-based diets impact on human health an
 d/or biodiversity.\n \nProjects should be based on human studies (animal 
 studies and in vitro studies are not eligible)\, and should focus on whole
  foods or plant-based food patterns (not supplements nor one particular bi
 oactive plant compound).\n \nFunding: up to EUR 50’000 per year (includ
 ing VAT and 20% overhead costs).\n \nDuration: max. 24 years.\n \nWho ca
 n apply: researchers holding at least an MA degree\, resident in a Europea
 n country and affiliated with a European university or research institute.
 \n \nDeadlines:\n\n	Deadline for short proposals: 30 April 2019 at midnig
 ht (max. 1.5 pages).\n	Pre-screening: 1 July 2019.\n	Deadline for full pro
 posals (upon invitation): 15 September 2019 at midnight.\n	Decision: 31 Oc
