DESCRIPTION:The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) and t
 he healthcare company Novo Nordisk call for applications for the A/S Progr
 amme for Diabetes Research in Europe.  \n \nApplications from all fields
  of diabetes research including both basic and clinical research are accep
 ted.\n \nWho can apply:\n\n	Applicants based at non-profit institutions i
 n the EU and Associated Countries.\n	The PI and Co-PIs must be normally em
 ployed at a non-profit institution and the study must be performed at thei
 r place of work.\n	Applicants to all EFSD programmes must be paid-up membe
 rs of EASD.\n	Only one EFSD award per PI or Co-PI at a time.\n	There can b
 e more than one EFSD award per lab\, but for separate projects.\n\n \nFun
 ding:\n\n\n	Max. EUR 100’000 for basic research and EUR 400’000 for cl
 inical research.\n	The budget must be prepared in EUR and it must mention 
 the exchange rate.\n	Please mention all funding requested and obtained fro
 m other sources.\n	Eligible costs: personnel\, 10% OH\, equipment\, suppli
 es\, other project-related costs.\n\n \nDuration: no upper or lower limit
 \, but must be justified in the application.\n \nDeadline: 1 February 201
