 ith each career step. For women\, the “likability” requirement often r
 epresents an additional challenge. Have you ever experienced “games” b
 eing played withunspoken rules\, not knowing how to act or play along? Thi
 s workshop reveals and decodes unspoken rules andbehaviour patterns\, guid
 es you in identifying scheming\,traps and tricks\, and shows you how to ac
 hieve greaterroom for manoeuvre and increased assertiveness.\n \nObjectiv
 es\n\n	Power dynamics in hierarchical organizations\n	Decoding verbal and 
 non-verbal language\, symbols and gestures in daily power games\n	How to m
 ake yourself seen and listened to in meetings and further relevant setting
 s\n	How to react to attacks and offenses\n\nParticipants\n\n\n	Will get to
  know the essential rules in power games and how to play along\n	Will be a
 ble to decide in any given power situation whether they want to participat
 e in the game or not and thus gain more freedom of choice\n	Will learn how

 egins:  http://www.unifr.ch/regard  \nThe REGARD programme is addressed 
 to young female academics of the next generation and for women professors 
 of the universities of French-speaking Switzerland\, HES-SO and EPFL. The 
 REGARD programme is organized by the gender equality offices those institu
 tions.  \nThe objective of the REGARD program is to develop skills and of
 fer concrete tools for career management and supervision. These workshops 
 also create spaces for discussion and exchange of experiences among resear
 chers. They also aim to increase awareness of gender equality issues in ac
 ademic careers.
