DESCRIPTION:Dear Postdocs\,\n\n A successful leap from academic environme
 nt to the industry world requires a certain attainable knowledge and skill
 set. On such requirement is having a well-above-average knowledge about th
 e job market state of your field\, possible entry points\, available posit
 ions\, how to approach the job market\, who to approach for help\, etc.\n
 \nAs part of the “Academia-to-Industry” Career Series\, the SV Postdoc
  Association has the pleasure to announce the next event in the Series to 
 address the above-mentioned concerns. This event\, which will be held on 
 the 4th of February 2019\, will provide the opportunity for postdocs con
 sidering transition to industry\, to interact with recruitment specialist
  in various fields to learn about ins and outs of “how to approach a tal
 ent and recruitment expert”\, “job opportunities in the field” and\
 , more importantly\, “strengths and weaknesses of your CV and how an app
 ropriate CV should look like”.\n\nThe event will start with an opening p
 resentation by Mr Stephen Fischer on Transferable Skills\, which will be t
 hen followed by three parallel sessions with recruitment specialists cove
 ring Life Sciences (Biomedical sciences\, Biotechnology\, Bioinformatics
 )\, Pharma\, and Technology (Data science\, Big data analysis\, applie
 d machine learning). This will be followed by a panel discussion and and a
 pero during which you will have the chance to network with the presenters
