DESCRIPTION:The 9th edition of the Dalle Molle Foundation “Quality of li
 fe” prize will award two CHF 10’000 prizes to ongoing research project
 s focusing on data processing and the new technologies and aiming at facil
 itating access to information in order to improve the quality of life and 
 of the environment\, and facilitate social interactions.\n \nThe research
  may focus on problems associated with science\, social sciences\, humanit
 ies\, sustainable development\, culture or information technologies and co
 mmunication.\nHighlight the potential interdisciplinarity of the project (
 if applicable).\n \nThe project:\n\n	Only ongoing research projects based
  in Switzerland or Italy are eligible.\n	The research prize must be used t
 o improve the research project in Switzerland or Italy.\n	Public or privat
 e funding bodies must have recognized the scientific quality of the projec
 t.\n	Must lead to a solution or significant progress within 2-5 years.\n\n
  \nThe applicant:\n\n\n	The competition is open to individuals from all p
 rofessional backgrounds\, all ages and all disciplines.\n\n \nFunding: CH
 F 10’000 for costs related to the improvement of the awarded research pr
 oject.\n \nDeadline: 30 April 2019\nEvaluation by the Jury\nDecision by t
 he Board of Foundation: 15 July 2019\n \nApplication: prepare your applic
 ation (max. 2500 words) in English or one of the Swiss national languages\
 , follow the foundation’s regulations and submit it to concours@dallemol
