DESCRIPTION:Swiss Bridge is a private foundation associated with the Swiss
  Cancer League\, the Swiss Cancer Research foundation and the Union for I
 nternational Cancer Control\, which supports high-quality cancer research 
 in Europe.\n \nThe 2019 call focuses on immune cell therapy\, including a
 ll types of immune-cell therapies\, such as chimeric antigen receptor T-ce
 ll (CAR T-cell) therapy\, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) therapy\, 
 and dendritic cell vaccine therapy.\n \nWho can apply: early stage resear
 chers (under the age of 45) holding a PhD or MD and having obtained an ind
 ependent position at a hospital\, university\, or research institute in Eu
 rope (e.g. junior group leaders\, assistant professors\, lecturers\, scien
 tists establishing their own research group).\n \nFunding & duration: max
 . CHF 300’000 for up to 36 months.\n\n	Covers: personnel (excluding the 
 PI’s salary)\, consumables\, travel cost\, publications fees.\n	Does NOT
  cover: indirect costs\, infrastructure\, bench fees and overheads.\n\n \
 nDeadlines: \n\n\n	Internal deadline for Institutional Support Letter: 22 
 April 2019 (contact research@epfl.ch).\n	Deadline for Letter of Intent: 30
  April 2019 (submit single PDF to swissbridge@swisscancer.ch).\n	The Lette
 r of Intent (max. 6 pages) will be evaluated by an international scientifi
 c jury.\n	6-8 investigators will be shortlisted and invited to submit a de
