DESCRIPTION:The Brain Research UK has launched the 2019 call for mechanism
 -based research projects addressing areas of large unmet need and demonstr
 ating a clear pathway to clinical impact in one of the following priority 
 areas:\n\n	acquired brain and spinal cord injury\n	neuro-oncology\n	headac
 he and facial pain.\n\n \nWho can apply: \n\n\n	the main applicant must b
 e based in a UK institution (university\, hospital or research institute).
  \n	EPFL applicants are eligible for funding as co-applicants (max. 3).\n
 \n \nFunding: £300’000 for up to 36 months.\n\n\n	Eligible costs: rese
 arch staff (incl. PhD students)\, essential equipment and consumables.\n	D
 oes not cover: tenured posts\, overheads\, administrative costs.\n\n \nDe
