DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is inviting proposals
  for the latest round of Grand Challenges Explorations\, which foster inno
 vation to solve key health and development problems. Three main challenges
  are presented in this call:\n\n	Emerging Technologies for New Solutions i
 n Global Health Priority Areas\n	Enivoronmental niches of Salmonella Typhi
 \n	Increasing Demand for Vaccination Services\n\n \nFunding: USD 100\,000
  initially\, with up to USD 1 million in follow-up funding given project s
 uccess.\n \nEligibility: Applicants can be at any experience level\; in a
 ny discipline\; and from any organization\, including colleges and univers
 ities\, government laboratories\, research institutions\, non-profit organ
 izations and for-profit companies.\n \nHow to Apply: Proposals must be su
 bmitted online by clicking the "Apply For This Opportunity" button on the 
 webpage for each open challenge\, which can be accessed through the grant
