DESCRIPTION:The SNSF programme Scientific Exchanges is aimed at researcher
 s who want to:\n\n	host their own scientific conference\, workshop or meet
 ing in Switzerland.\n	invite their colleagues from abroad for a research v
 isit to Switzerland or visit their colleagues in another country.\n\n\nWho
  can apply:\n\n\n	employed by a Swiss research institution for the duratio
 n of the grant.\n	work-time percentage may lie under 50%\, but should not 
 be lower than 20%.\n	For Scientific events only: PhD is NOT required.\n	Fo
 r Scientific visits only: at least 4 years after PhD/MD\; in a position to
  carry out research projects under her/his own responsibility and to lead 
 project staff both scientifically and as personnel.\n	Applicants can apply
  to the two types of grants in the same application.\n\n\nFunding:\n\n\n	B
 etween CHF 2’500 and CHF 25’000.\n	Max. CHF 50’000 only if you apply
  for both types of grants in the same application.\n\n\nEligibile costs:\n
 \n\n	For Scientific events: travel expenses\, food and board costs of part
 icipants from abroad provided they make a contribution (talk\, poster\, mo
 deration\, supervision of workshop\, etc.). No more than 1-2 persons per h
 alf a day of the event.\n	For Scientific visits: travel (actual costs) and
  living costs (flat rate).\n\n\nDuration:\n\n\n	For Scientific events: 2-5
  days.\n	For Scientific visits: 1 to 6 months for Scientific visits.\n\n\n
 Rolling call: apply at least 4 months before the start of the event or vis
 it.\nDecision after 2-2.5 months\n\nFor further information\, please have
