DESCRIPTION:Gebert Rüf Stiftung (GRS) was established in 1998 by entrepre
 neur Heinrich Gebert as a science and innovation foundation. Its objective
  is to promote «Switzerland as a top location for business and as a place
  to live». As a private funding agency guided by its mission statement «
 making science effective»\, it supports entrepreneurial projects\, which 
 are committed to achieving an impact.\n \nGRS has opened a new area of ac
 tivity\, Digital Education Pioneers\, endowed with CHF 0.5 million in 2019
  to contribute to create the “school of the future”.\n \nIt supports 
 the implementation of pioneering projects at primary and lower secondary s
 chools that provide access to high-quality digital educational videos and 
 digital tools that support interactions among teachers and between teacher
 s and students: collaborative teaching and learning\, skills acquisition\,
  and knowledge processing in interactions (reverse teaching).\n \nThis ar
 ea of activity helps pioneering and  potentially scalable digital learnin
 g and teaching arrangements achieve a breakthrough.\n \nDigital education
 al content must meet the following requirements:\n\n	Open education\n	Rele
 vant content/quality\n	All kinds of educational video\, including experime
 nts\n	Interactivity (e.g. with a quiz).\n\n \nWho can apply: applicants f
 rom Swiss Institutions of higher education or research centres and non-pro
 fit organisations are eligible to apply\, however projects must be either 
 led by teachers from primary or lower secondary school or involve them.\n
  \nApplication: \n\n\n	please fill out the application form.\n	join\, amo
 ng others\, a letter of support from a suitable number of schools and educ
 ation authorities\, regarding the implementation and potential scalability
  of the project.\n	Non independent researchers at EPFL must join a Letter 
 of Support from the Head of their Unit.\n\n \nFunding: no upper or lower 
 limit.\n\n\n	Eligible costs: Salaries and Material costs\n	Does NOT cover:
  Infrastructure\, Equipment and Overheads.\n\n \nDeadlines:\n\n\n	Informa

 he deadline for proposals.\n	Proposal: 1 February\, 1 May\, 1 September an
