DESCRIPTION:Aim\nThe Bertarelli Foundation Catalyst Fund will support proj
 ects\, that aim at developing novel therapeutic approaches\, such as cell 
 and gene therapy\, optogenetics\, bioactive molecules\, diagnostic tools\,
  imaging techniques and implants among others.\n \nRequirements\n\n	Proje
 cts should emphasize a translational neuroscience goal\n	Projects must be 
 collaborative: each proposal should have at least one principal investigat
 or from Campus Biotech and one co-applicant from the partner institutions 
 (University of Geneva\, HUG or EPFL) or UNIL\, CHUV\, Uni Bern\, and SUVA 
 Sion. Projects emanating from two groups hosted at Campus Biotech will als
 o be considered.\n	A preference will be given to new projects. Proposals t
 o continue ongoing work in a laboratory will be less favorably reviewed.\n
 	Projects likely to make a significant advance within the grant period wil
 l be favored.\n	An annual progress report will be required\, and continued
  funding will be conditional on demonstration of satisfactory progress\n\n
 Conditions\n\n\n	Four to six projects will be funded\, each with a duratio
 n of 24 months\n	Budgets will be in the range of CHF 300’000 total per p
 roject\n	Application deadline: May 15\, 2019\n	Earliest starting date of t
