DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Parkinson’s R
 esearch Program (PRCRP) for 2019. The Investigator-Initiated Research Awar
 d supports highly rigorous\, multidisciplinary\, high-impact research proj
 ects that have the potential to make an important contribution to Parkinso
 n’s disease research and/or patient care. This award mechanism supports 
 the full spectrum of research from basic science through clinical research
  that specifically focuses on scientific and clinical Parkinson’s diseas
 e issues\, which\, if successfully addressed\, have the potential to make 
 a major impact in understanding\, preventing\, diagnosing\, or treating Pa
 rkinson’s disease or enhancing the well-being of individuals experiencin
 g the impact of the disease..\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 1’500’000\n
  \nDuration: 3 years\n \nEligibility: Applicants from international orga
 nizations or institutions are eligible to apply\, and there are no citizen
 ship restrictions. Investigators at or above the level of Assistant Profes
 sor are eligible to apply.\n \nHow to Apply: Pre-applications are submitt
 ed through the eBRAP platform. They should contain contact information\, a
  list of collaborators and key personnel\, a letter of intent\, and suppor
