t Award supports the initial exploration of innovative\, high-risk\, high-
gain\, and potentially groundbreaking concepts in NF research. Studies sup
ported by this award mechanism are expected to lay the groundwork for futu
re avenues of scientific investigation.\n \nAreas of Emphasis: The FY19 N
FRP strongly encourages research applications that specifically address th
e critical needs of the NF community in one or more of the following Areas
  of Emphasis:\n\n	Health services research\n	Heterogeneity of NF-related t
umors\n	Non-tumor manifestations\n	Novel disease and treatment response ma
 rkers using genomics\, epigenetics\, systems biology\, metabolomics\, or s
 imilar approaches\n	Nutritional\, environmental\, and other modifiers of N
 F\n	Preclinical efficacy studies\n	Target identification\, drug discovery\
 n	Targeted immunotherapies\n\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 100’000\n \nDu
