DESCRIPTION:Personalized Health and Related Technologies (PHRT) is a strat
 egic focus area of the ETH Domain that fosters personalized health researc
 h by offering technological knowhow\, expertise and capacity from the ETH 
 Domain institutions to medical and clinical partners and by supporting col
 laborative interdisciplinary research.\nWith its 3rd call for proposals\, 
 PHRT invites clinical scientists who have access to extensive high-quality
  sample cohorts\, to create an inter-institutional\, interdisciplinary con
 sortium to formulate a well-defined clinical question and to request fundi
 ng to generate matched genomic\, transcriptomic and proteomic data by the 
 two PHRT technology platforms: the Health 2030 Genome Center in Geneva\, a
 nd the Clinical Proteotype Analysis Center in Zurich. Data integration\, d
 ata analysis and data interpretation are an important part of the projects
  as well.\n \nSample sets should be already available and approved or rea
 ch that state within 3 months after the intended start date. Applicants ar
 e strongly recommended to contact as early as possible the platforms to cl
 arify the suitability of their samples and strategies (blood plasma or FFP
 E samples cannot be analyzed in the context of this grant).\n\n\nPioneer P
 rojects: multi '-omics' data collection and interpretation of clinical sam
 ple cohorts\nFunding amount: max. 500’000 CHF. A total of up to CHF 1.5 
 million is available for funding 3 to 4 Pioneer Projects to be used for sa
 mple processing\, data acquisition on PHRT platforms\, analysis (note: PHR
 T funding can only go to PHRT platforms and ETH Domain research groups) an
 d for “clinical services” to prepare samples or compile clinical meta 
 data (for hospitals\, universities etc).\nDuration: 24 months\nStarting da
