 l review recent activities  in optimal signaling under per-antenna\, in a
 ddition to total\, power constraints as well as interference constrains to
  external users. Since the feasible set is not unitary anymore and since t
 here is interplay of several constraints acting simultaneously\, the probl
 em becomes much richer (in particular\, signaling on the channel eigenmode
 s is not generally optimal anymore). While no closed-form solution is know
 n in the general case\, a number of special cases have been solved. Proper
 ties of optimal signaling and capacity in the general case will be discuss
 ed too\, including the case of massive MIMO under favorable propagation co
 nditions.\n\n
