DESCRIPTION:Aim: CARB-X welcomes applications from around the world for fu
 nding and support for the early development of antibiotics\, diagnostics\,
  vaccines and other products to combat the most serious drug-resistant bac
 teria. The goal is to support them through the early stages of product dev
 elopment and Phase 1 so they can attract private or public investment for 
 further clinical stage development.\n \nRound 1 for this program focuses 
 on Non-traditional approaches. These include:\n\n	Indirect acting small mo
 lecules (virulence\, potentiators\, BLI combinations etc.)\n	Direct- and i
 ndirect-acting large molecules (peptides\, etc.)\n	Phage\n	Microbiome\n	Nu
 cleic acid/anti-sense\n	Drug conjugates (ADC\, other dual acting drug conj
 ugates)\n\n \nFor antibiotics and other therapeutics\, CARB-X funds proje
 cts from Hit-to-Lead into Phase 1.\n \nFunding: Project dependent.\n \nD
 uration: Project dependent.\n \nEligibility: CARB-X welcomes applications
  from around the world. Applicants must have a legal entity. Product devel
 opers (PDs) must have appropriate operations or capabilities in place to s
 upport product development\, particularly through the development stages i
 n scope for CARB-X.\n \nHow to Apply: There is a three-step application p
 rocess. First\, an Expression of Interest (EOI) must be submitted summariz
 ing the product proposed as a candidate for support. EOIs are submitted on
  the application portal. Selected applicants then move to the second step\
 , in which selected companies submit a confidential Short Form. Finally\, 
 in a third step selected applicants submit a Long Form and detailed budget
